Hemingway's done it again; with another exceptional cria…Hemingway's Ruth is excellent in every way. She shines with his genes, with the ‘Hemingway head’, lovely topknot, and perfect spear-shaped ears & a wonderful handle, density, luster, and more!!!

Ruth will add pervasive fineness and elite genetics to your breeding program, as well as remarkable density and lingering fineness (meaning their fleece stays fine), as she has already done for us.

Ruth's histograms show incredible fineness: At 6 months of age, her AFD was: 17.9; 2nd shearing: 20.4 (both 1st and 2nd years, she was boarded out); 3rd shearing: 16.9; 5th shearing: 18.5; 6th shearing: 21.3; 7th shearing: 21.3 and 8th shearing: 21.1!!!!

Her offspring show the same, and are extremely dense with tons of coverage and fineness:

This year, we re-bred her for the 4th time to Snowmass Snow Legend -- one of the finest studs in the nation, who had a cashmere-like fleece of 14.4 micron count in 2004 and has retained his lingering fineness still, with a micron count of 20.8 at 9 years old!! Legend represents the greatness of his sire (Snowmass IncaAccoyo Star) & grandsire(Snowmaster), with an additional brightness, luster & highly expressive crimp making an unbelievable fleece on this true Champion, which he has proven to pass onto his offspring.

NOTE: The cut-rate prices of our girls are NOT a reflection of their quality. We simply need to make room for the new cria coming on this year! Our loss is your gain!!
