Her Sire--our "gentle giant"--LPS Trujillo, was sired by the famous Canadian Multiple Award & Get-Of-Sire Winning Champion-Pperuvian Javier. Javier originated in the Kenamori Region of Peru, & year after year, produces absolute champion, award winning cria. Proving to be one of Canada's premier herdsires, Javier is a 2 time Get of Sire winner, 2 time major show fleece winner, & has thrown many champion offspring & fleece winners. Javier is highly respected among top breeders, with his heavy bone, dense, fine, & excellent crimp with excessive coverage.
Trujillo's dam, Zhanna Sunrise is a world traveler, being conceived in Peru, exported to Australia & then to La Pampa Sunrise Alpacas in Canada. She then came to the USA. She has produced award winning cria, has great conformation & a perfect bite.

Lindsey's dam-- Whirlwind's Faline, has the look of a vicuna, is a marvelous producer, & is part of our Foundation Herd. One look at her cria (100% colored GIRLS!) proves her worth as a breeder. At the age of six, Faline's micron count was 21.6---lower than K-2 (at the age of 6), 24.6; & Hemingway, 25.9!
She is the daughter of the stunning, multi-award winning MSG Champion herdsire-Wooded Hills Winston & Arlene Francis. Both of which have produced an impressive line of ribbon winners, & have attributes to their fleece & conformation that are rare for Chileans so old. Strong, stately, & with unending presence, Winston won 2nd place ribbons at the Hart Fall Festival & Txolan, at age 9 AND 10, as well as 1st place Best of Fleece show at the AlpacaFest. In 2004, one of Arlene's sons-HDF Stone placed 2nd in the juvenile class at MOPACA & was Reserve Color Champion at Topeka. Most of Winston's cria have been colored females-throwing largely grey offspring, as well as black, fawn, brown, & white to name a few.

Lindsey shines with the coveted 'full body cover', with her lovely, dense topknot, wonderful handle, extreme density, bright luster, noteworthy conformation, & strong, heavy bone.

As a rule, Lindsey has quick births with no complications, & gives plenty of milk. She is a good, responsible, & caring mother as well, & has an inherently sweet & calm temperament. Her 2009 cria Surprise---sired by the Elite Snowmass Reminiscence---turned out so well, that we have repeated the breeding twice more, with the same magnificent results!
